New This Month – June

Summer is almost here! Just a couple weeks of school left. UniVarsity is wrapping up the school year with attendance at two conferences. At the end of May, after a tour of Cal Tech, we attended the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC) conference at Loyola Marymount University. This annual conference is a chance for high school counselors, independent educational consultants, and admissions officers to convene and share information. For UniVarsity, it is particulary informative to hear directly from admissions officers about trends in the admissions process and any changes to be aware of to the upcoming application season.

In early June, UniVarsity will travel to Seattle and Vancouver to attend the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) annual conference. Check this space next month for an update on the 8 colleges we will visit in the Pacific Northwest.
