We asked some of our former students to report back about their college experience so far. Sally is our highlight for September! Here's what she has to say about her campus.
What do you like about Wisconsin?
"Some things I like about college are the independence and making your own schedule, all of the fun social and sporting events, and meeting a lot of new people from all over the world."
What are you majoring in?
" I am currently majoring in Global Health on the Pre-Med track with a minor in environmental studies and business management."
Fun fact you’ve learned about Wisconsin?
"A fun fact about the University of Wisconsin is that when the lake freezes over in the winter, students will get together and play hockey on the ice."
What are you doing on the weekends?
"Every weekend in the fall, you could find me cheering on the football team from the field and on the basketball court in the spring."
What is something that surprised you
"Something that excited me about college is all of the big and little traditions that my university has that I learned about throughout the year. From the iconic "Jump Around" celebration at football games to the colorful chairs on the Union Terrance in the warmers seasons."
What did UniVarsity Help You With?
"UniVarsity was very helpful when it come to organizing all of my college applications as well as editing my essays. As someone who applied to about 25 schools, UniVarsity was a good central place to go for everything."
